Happy Valentines Day!

I ended up being a sappy mess for my testimonial on Claire for the LB 1067 Bill. Hopefully we will know more on the next step for the court case soon. Claire had a great time last night at the Midwest Heart Connections Banquet!

Claire checked out great at her 15 month doctors visit, her pediatrician had no concerns. Claire weighed 19 lbs 8 oz (6th %) and she was 29 1/4 inches tall (17th %)We will visit her neurologist on Feb 17th. Claire is getting her back molars in and loves ice cubes and ketchup. We just got back from a weekend trip to Minnesota to see Claire's cousins, The Henry's. (My oldest sister and her 5 kids). I am going to speak tomorrow at a court hearing for mandating in Nebraska infant screening on a pulse oximeter at birth. I have to give a testimonial on Claire's experience, so I hope can talk and not be a sappy mess! I am happy to be a part of mandating more infant screening and testing for Congenital Heart Diseases at birth! I will keep everyone posted on the status of this bill.
