Claire had her Doctors appt on Thurs and while she checked out ok the doctors office had us scheduled as another doctors patient and had us as we came in on Monday. They kept telling me weren't you here on Monday and I told them I was sure we were not and that our discharge instructions from the hospital said Thursday. Despite the mix up since Dr Hammel was volunteering in Honduras, we saw his Nurse Practitioner Carmen. She said Claire looked good and these two little hard bumps on Claire's chest were stitches and because they had not disintegrated and Claire does not have much fat on her body they show up for a while and look like little hard pimples.

Claire now weighs 4.02kg which is 8 lbs 9 ounces. She is starting to grow out of her newborn clothes and diapers finally. I think we will make our new goal of 9lbs by her 3 month birthday at the end of the month. If this happens we will officially be on the very bottom of the growth chart. She is still doing great sleeping at night in between her feedings. She is still taking the majority of her feedings orally and we hope to be done with her NG tube before her 4 month birthday. She is starting to gain better head control.
