Claire doing good despite cold and flu season

Claire had her Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist come out Wednesday morning to evaluate her for the Early Childhood Development Program through OPS. They said given her circumstances with being hospitalized for her first two months and undergoing heart surgery she is doing good. She is behind on a few things but really made some more progress with her head control and all over body movements this past week. She also had her Synagis shot to help decrease the severity if she gets RSV. She had been a little moody, complained about her throat when feeding, and sounded nasally and congested so Friday afternoon we took her to see her Pediatrician Dr. Kaufman and he checked her out and sent us back to Children's Hospital to do an RSV Swab and Head Ultrasound. Since both checked out ok she just had a cold. Our doctor called us back within an hour of the test and told us that the Head Ultrasound looked good and was consistent with her last one right before discharge. They just told us Saturday morning that she was negative for RSV but have a few other viral cultures pending. She is already looking and feeding better.
