If you know Chad and I you will understand that patience has never been one of our stronger points. We just got some results this evening from Monday's tests and an estimate on when her heart surgery will be. Her MRI and EEG were still consistent to slightly improved from last week’s tests. The only new info was that there was some slight bleeding toward the back of her head which could just be moving around as it is trying to absorb. Tentatively, her surgery will be set for the Mon or Tues before Thanksgiving. Tuesday night her central line had a leak and they ended up repairing it around midnight and changed it from a double to a triple lumen. So she had some morphine for a few hours after they re-threaded the line which left her a little medicated in the morning. She woke up more in the afternoon and it was good to see her open her eyes again. They are going to try to get a PICC line put in this week. They have plans to slowly wean her off of her ventilator as her right lung is now in pristine condition.

Glad that Claire is doing well and the tests were good-and the lung is better. All great news. Now just waiting for surgery-I know that you want it done and Claire on the road to recovery and home ! It will happen and you all will have a wonderful Christmas together Love Morrie and Pat
